You can order by phone, fax or email or at www.tobar.co.uk. Order forms are also available to download online or you can place an order using your own order form. Once placed, we will hold goods for 28 days. Out of Stock items are placed on backorder. If placing an order over the phone you will be notified of this at the time of ordering. When ordering online, availability is shown along with the next delivery date. Out of stock lines can be added to your basket as a backorder. For other methods we can confirm your order and availability via email and send you a proforma invoice if applicable. The proforma invoice will show the total to be paid. You will not be charged for out of stock goods.
Prices shown are ex VAT. Export customers ordering within the EU will be required to provide a VAT number, otherwise VAT will be charged at the current UK rate. If a recommended retail price is printed on an item we include it alongside the product description. As these items are commonly kits incorporating books, there is usually a reduced rate of VAT (UK) on the item, which we also provide.
To set up an account please register on our website. Once registered, we will activate your account within 24 hours and send you a confirmation email. Alternatively, please complete a new customer form and return to us. A new customer form is available to download online here or can be sent if requested. First orders will be on a proforma invoice basis and must reach our minimum first order of £200 exc VAT and carriage. There is no minimum on subsequent orders.
Proformas and Invoices can be paid by cheque, bank transfer or Visa, Maestro or Mastercard. Where payment is required in advance your order will be processed once cleared payment is received, this can take up to 7 working days in the case of BACS or cheque payment. Credit Account customers are required to settle invoices within 28 days.
All payments should now be made payable to Tobar Group Trading Ltd.

Backorders will appear on your despatch note as ‘to follow’.
We will never duplicate backorders, taking the most recent quantity as the required amount. We send out backorder notifications once you have goods in stock from a value of £30 plus. Items will be held for 30 days once available. You must advise us to send these goods. We will not send automatically unless we receive a new order from you in which case we will transfer any backorders forward to your new order to avoid duplication. When ordering online, you have the option to transfer to basket or cancel any outstanding backorders.
Carriage is free on backorders within the UK mainland. You can also add to your backorder carriage free. Export and Offshore UK backorders are charged at the usual rate. All outstanding backorders are cancelled after Christmas
